It's truly a step back into the past! This serves as a prime example that not all updates are improvements.

For those who, like me, are struggling, I've found a workaround that comes close to solving the issue.

In the top right corner, near the X, there's a small calendar icon (next to the bell symbol).

Clicking this icon opens a list of all upcoming events in chronological order, which is scrollable.

Positioning this next to a static calendar provides a reasonably good overview of upcoming events and the current date.

Additionally, when used on an ultra widescreen, you can always have your calendar visible while browsing your inbox.

I have been trialing the New Outlook for a few weeks. The most difficult part has been the calendar. We always used to be able to scroll with the mouse wheel through the year to look at past and upcoming events which was incredibly useful. The scrolling also enabled us to be able to see the next couple of weeks regardless of whether it was across two months. With the new Outlook we cannot find a way to set a view so we can look across month boundaries which has proved awkward moving back and forth between months for scheduling.

Please can a feature be added to allow calendar scrolling again or if not at least a way to set a view for the upcoming weeks?

Unfortunately not. But maybe Microsoft will take some notes?

I found a fix y'all. I just upgraded my Mac and went back to Calendar. Insane features. You can cut and paste events and scroll through months!

We really need to bring back calendar scrolling. This is the last straw. Going back to old Outlook.
