Calendar scrolling using the new outlook view.

hello, i just turned on the new outlook view and in the Calander you can no longer us your mouse wheel to just scroll up and down. is there a setting for that or is that just how it works now. i do see arrows where you can click to go and down, but the mouse wheel works so much better. thx

    To chime in with others, scrolling is a basic feature of all web applications. Has been since the first browser.

    To remove that in outlook as if people only schedule within one calendar month or activities only stay in that time frame is infantile. Even my toddlers know this.

    As outlook is now forcing the new view on everyone it is now not even reversible.

    Absolutely terrible.

    Shared calendars and quick scheduling were one of the powers of old outlook. Removing that is laughable and demonstrates the continuing ensh*tifying of oulook.

    100% agree. I'm shocked that this somehow made it through testing. Please bring the mouse wheel scrolling funcationality back in Outlook. It should never have been lost.

    Yes. I miss the wheel scroll in calendar. I find myself jumping back and forth between Outlook versions to perform different tasks. Not ideal. I hope they can fix this.

    Same here, I use this functionality a lot to move or copy/paste items (flexible planning), which is now practically impossible beyond the month boundary.

    From a UI/UX point of view, this is completely unusable, and the reason why I switched back to the good old Outlook.

    Same issue with being unable to change the view to multiple weeks by selecting them in the small calendar (to avoid having the '+X' displayed if a given day has more than 3 items)

    Combine this with the fact that split view isn't available in month view, this makes the calendar completely useless now.

    (BTW: Help>Feedback isn't available in the new outlook, did report this using Help>Support)

    I can scroll my Google web-based calendar with the mouse, so you would think it shouldn't be difficult for them to implement.

    There also doesn't seem to be a way to download an ics file or access *actual* account settings (the file menu is completely gone). Oh and the default setting is to preview websites when someone emails a link. Literally downloading a bit of info from *any* website link. How idiotic is that? I feel bad for IT people.

    View tab > View settings > Calendar > Shared Calendars.

    The new Outlook is Outlook on the web in an app framework - if you can do it in Outlook on the web, it should be the Outlook Pre.
