Last week, my personal Outlook email started getting ~50 spam emails per day. I barely ever use this email address, so I am not sure how or why this began to happen. How can I stop all of this spam from getting to my inbox?
I have been flagging all of the emails as spam, but it doesn't seem to be stopping the influx of emails I am getting.

This is getting ridiculous. For a long time now, a lot of spam/scam emails end up in our inboxes as "clean", Like generic spam, fake password renewal scams, fake voicemails etc. I have no idea to M$ is not able to catch these emails that use microsoft name and logo in them, and not being sent from microsoft. Just mind boggling.
On top of this maddness, however, in past 6 months many good emails, even those I had recent conversations with, end up in spam. We miss important stuff and this hurts our business.
I am not going to waste any more of my time fiddling with every single email. It should just work, as it does with other service providers. I am, as a CEO, seriously considering dumping M$ products altogether as this is the last drop, on top of broken MS teams etc. Just really bad experience, and expensive at that.

this is the second time I've had this problem after 15 years using outlook. I recently read Microsoft was doing this to encourage users to pay for an upgrade to their outlook account and they fix the junk problem with the upgrade.
Try this: click all the spam in your inbox (in my case all the spam subject started with "Re:....text"). click "Report Phishing or Report Junk". After a few days the junk didn't appear in my inbox.
No, this doesn’t work. Most of these spam emails are aliases I.e. pretending to come from me.
I’m using O365 premium edition (PAID subscription) and the Outlook App on my devices. The spam Just doesn’t go away 😡
I’ve been religiously reporting and marking all these spam emails every day but when you get 50+ per day it becomes tiresome. Surely, someone at MS is readying my message. DO Something FAST!!!!
After using this account for 20+ years might have to consider moving to Gmail as a last resort 😔
