My Outlook inbox is suddenly getting a ton of spam and I don't know how to stop it

Last week, my personal Outlook email started getting ~50 spam emails per day. I barely ever use this email address, so I am not sure how or why this began to happen. How can I stop all of this spam from getting to my inbox?

I have been flagging all of the emails as spam, but it doesn't seem to be stopping the influx of emails I am getting.

Wow, your situation is way worse than mine was! My incoming spam has decreased to a manageable level, but any is still annoying. I wish you the best for something that we should not have to deal with.

Me too, since highlighting this issue (yet again, first time was in 2019) on 3 seperate threads here recently on this Community Forum I can say that my spam junk mail has almost gone to zero -

so fingers crossed it stays that way.

I have been reporting them all each day en masse in bulk, as ''Phishing'' **** and then Blocking the senders then Deleting them all.
Takes a few minutes each morning but hey ho seems to have worked for now.

Someone at Outlook Towers just maybe has listened to me/us and reads these threads LOL.

Wish the best to you all for a same result.

Who do you report them to?

The whole issue is it all stared for everyone around the same time....and reporting leads to more frustration and no solutions...thats why commencing a class action is IMHO the only option

On your Outlook Mail web page using your PC/laptop (not using on your phone or the App) you use the phishing button (says 'Report') then there is another button saying 'Block'.

Highlight all the junk emails then report them, then after block them (they will have gone into the deleted folder)
