My Outlook inbox is suddenly getting a ton of spam and I don't know how to stop it

Last week, my personal Outlook email started getting ~50 spam emails per day. I barely ever use this email address, so I am not sure how or why this began to happen. How can I stop all of this spam from getting to my inbox?

I have been flagging all of the emails as spam, but it doesn't seem to be stopping the influx of emails I am getting.

    ..think I was with them before Microsoft bought them out.. saved me lots o dough this free email... :) hovering at 94% full last year .. ... I thought all this spam was from me one time I think a year or two ago clicking a spreadsheet in what ended up being a **** email... so I just assumed it all my fault for I'm prob on some weird list. I'm a bit lucky though in that my ~100 daily dudes just go straight to my junk folder where I keep scanning for legit ones (for I only have my contacts go to my inbox)

    I got bad news for you, spam won't decrease even if you pay subscription. Your email address is targeted by spammers. It will never end regardless of your subscription or free account status.

    What to do????? I spend about an hour everyday getting rid of these spam/scam emails.
