My Outlook inbox is suddenly getting a ton of spam and I don't know how to stop it

Last week, my personal Outlook email started getting ~50 spam emails per day. I barely ever use this email address, so I am not sure how or why this began to happen. How can I stop all of this spam from getting to my inbox?

I have been flagging all of the emails as spam, but it doesn't seem to be stopping the influx of emails I am getting.

The emails all have a common unsubscribe url k-lists it’s called if I remember rightly done some digging and k-lists is part of the klaviyo domain done some further digging and klaviyo are partnered with Shopify. Hence this all started after signing up to Shopify payment plan!

That may be true, except i have never used Shopify.

side note: the onslaught of spam emails has suddenly stopped nearly 100%! i suspect there was some defect in Microsoft's spam filter and it has now been fixed. YAY

I have the same problem. I even paid for the $19.99 per year subscription that promises to stop ads. Don't do I

it. I have found that spam emails are not considered ads by Microsoft. I think the flood of spam emails is a ploy to get you to purchase the paid subscription which is supposed to stop said emails. Don't fall for it.

This is STILL happening to me! I already pay for their Office 365 and now this? Microsoft needs to get off their butts and do something. Enough is enough, Microsoft!

I have moved from Outlook to Gmail. I always used or tried everything Microsoft. Mail has become unusable. Every day I'm checking if I missed something within the avalanche of spam. Most accounts, newsletters etc that are not Microsoft I moved to Google. Cloud storage too. It's just to risky missing important stuff. So yeah, after 20+ years Google is getting my money now.

Bye Microsoft, it's been nice knowing you. Stop trying to get me back.
