Last week, my personal Outlook email started getting ~50 spam emails per day. I barely ever use this email address, so I am not sure how or why this began to happen. How can I stop all of this spam from getting to my inbox?
I have been flagging all of the emails as spam, but it doesn't seem to be stopping the influx of emails I am getting.

Yes I have been doing this, but the spam emails keep coming in. They are from all different email addresses, so it doesn't really matter if I block one, they keep showing up.
Same here - I've been blocking/reporting about 40-50 emails per day for about 6 straight weeks now, and they just keep coming. My main issue is that they're coming to the Focused Inbox, so I get annoying push notifications on my cell phone each time. Why isn't the junk folder catching all or at least most of them like it had done for about 20 years previously?
One other issue - sometimes it won't even let me block the sender because a message pops up that says "can't block email addresses from your own organization" or something. Uh...I don't work for a spamming organization. And these email addresses are just a bunch of random gibberish.
Hello Dwilly90! I'm sorry you're having this issue, the only way you can stop this is to follow the steps provided above yo block all spam messages.
Please note that spammers buy email addresses from special providers in bulk to add them to their mailing lists. If you've noted a sudden increase in the number of spam emails landing in your account, there's a high chance that your address was part of a list recently sold to one or more scammers.
Please always keep your email address private.

this is not an answer that works..ive had outlook for a very long time..at least 10-15 years. its all of a sudden this is happening and i block every one of them and they still send me emails. i think its a ploy by MS to get people to upgrade so they have to pay for this to be stopped. im about to switch to my gmail account and cancel everything related to MS.
Mine has gone crazy. This is CLEARLY a problem at Microsoft. What is being done to fix this????
