Using classic Outlook for Windows in business environments
NO ONE thinks they're entitled to a spam free email account. It appears you misunderstand why many of us are/were here to report an UNUSUAL issue. That's why this area exists, TO REPORT. I'm glad I wasn't alone for one thing. It certainly was UNUSUAL to receive 50+ spam in the inbox daily for many weeks. They belonged in another folder. It's not difficult to understand that it's a legitimate problem. Although it's not difficult to delete what doesn't belong, it never belonged there to begin with! Plus, when you're deleting so many daily, it takes concentration and time to ensure that you didn't delete the important ones that belong. Doing that daily for weeks is not the end of the world, but hello...it became very taxing/annoying/concerning. There's a reason why the junk mail folder exists. I was constantly picking up my phone to see what emails I was receiving...90% was junk. After a while, I didn't want to bother, but that wasn't ideal, either. Obviously a glitch and I'm thankful my issue was finally resolved.
