My Outlook inbox is suddenly getting a ton of spam and I don't know how to stop it

Last week, my personal Outlook email started getting ~50 spam emails per day. I barely ever use this email address, so I am not sure how or why this began to happen. How can I stop all of this spam from getting to my inbox?

I have been flagging all of the emails as spam, but it doesn't seem to be stopping the influx of emails I am getting.

    Microsoft, Hotmail/ Outlook accounts have become rubbish accounts. Ever since I paid for more storage I am now getting 10 to 20 time more spam. over 100 junk mail every day. The more you report, the more junk you get. Microsoft just don't seam to care anymore. You cant ever get real help. The scammers have work out how to get around blocking and keep changing email addresses. There needs to be a way that emailers need approval to send mail to you.

    Not entirely true. I have Microsoft 365 family and the spam emails are out of control. I noticed if I just deleted them, they reduced but now.... Now they just come directly into my focus inbox.

    msn in general..as a whole has completely gone down the crapper. from the left wing views to censorship on the blogs for each and every article thats posted on the news. i have been censored for saying stuff you wouldnt believe..this email thing is a ploy to get people to pay for services they wouldnt normally need to they try to allow your email to get spammed to the point of either pay..deal with it or leave and a lot are leaving. bill gates is a dipsht..and msn follows suit

    This is driving me insane, I never used to have an issue but recently its 50 odd per day. I am now going through the unbelievably painful process of moving to gmail.
