My Outlook inbox is suddenly getting a ton of spam and I don't know how to stop it

Last week, my personal Outlook email started getting ~50 spam emails per day. I barely ever use this email address, so I am not sure how or why this began to happen. How can I stop all of this spam from getting to my inbox?

I have been flagging all of the emails as spam, but it doesn't seem to be stopping the influx of emails I am getting.

Nelson your suggestion does not work. I am receiving close to 5,000 junk emails per week. I report them as spam and try and block as many as I can. However, as one person stated, the emails come from different users with the same spam message. Do I need to change my email adress?

So what is the solution here? Because blocking each email isn't working?

There needs to be a solution. Is it to remove this email and create a new one or what??

There doesn't appear to be any solution for this Toni. Microsoft couldn't care less as shown with communications with them.

They recommend doing everything we have already done and when you explain you have already done everything they have recommended, all they reply with is how frustrating it must be.... Wow, really???

After 20 years with my Microsoft account I'm done. Not renewing my subscription anymore after I moved my 200+ GB data to Google. Already moved a lot of my mail there. I'll have to keep the mail address because of the history but not using it actively anymore. It's become utterly useless. Costs me serious time each day. Inbox rules don't work.
