My Outlook inbox is suddenly getting a ton of spam and I don't know how to stop it

Last week, my personal Outlook email started getting ~50 spam emails per day. I barely ever use this email address, so I am not sure how or why this began to happen. How can I stop all of this spam from getting to my inbox?

I have been flagging all of the emails as spam, but it doesn't seem to be stopping the influx of emails I am getting.

You can try making some rules. The SPAM i received had more or less the same keywords, so i made a rule (settings-> mail -> rule) that checks for subject includes and message body includes the spam words and in action select to move them on junk folder and make them read (or delete them). I prefer to have them on junk folder so i can check for false positives.

    Hope this helps a bit.

Best thing would be if they fix their SPAM filters.. last couple of days i getting really obvious spam on my inbox!

No, your answer didn't help at all.

The point is to block completely those spams, to receive the sender a message from his/her mail host as undelivered. To not even come to my email. Not to go even to spam or deleted folder.

I did all the possible actions in my web mail of outlook.com
There is no way to stop those spams because they use different email every time and come from different ip every time.
But they have something common. They mention Elon Musk using a photo of him. (not with text)
Yes I have disabled the downloading of pictures. But I had one time to see a picture to find a way to block them.

I have moved from Outlook to Gmail. I always used or tried everything Microsoft. Mail has become unusable. Every day I'm checking if I missed something within the avalanche of spam. Most accounts, newsletters etc that are not Microsoft I moved to Google. Cloud storage too. It's just to risky missing important stuff. So yeah, after 20+ years Google is getting my money now.

Bye Microsoft, it's been nice knowing you. Stop trying to get me back.

This is STILL happening to me! I already pay for their Office 365 and now this? Microsoft needs to get off their butts and do something. Enough is enough, Microsoft!
