My Outlook inbox is suddenly getting a ton of spam and I don't know how to stop it

I have been reporting phishing for months in the hope they would stop or microsoft would do something about it, but no they still keep coming. MICROSOFT please help???

I am unable to do blocking for any of them. These emails are coming in so fast and I can't tell which emails should be read. This is crazy, it just started today and they won't stop coming in. It's buried really important emails now and it will take me hours to find them.

As and others said in various forums these spams started when giant leaks happened from various hackers in some sites. They sold the emails addresses (microsoft email addresses too) to others and then started the massive spams. Probably there are and others leaks and hackers sold more emails addresses with the result users to have more spams.
On sites that had or have software of microsoft the responsibility is to those admins of those sites and microsoft. To admins because they didn't take enough security measures with security software and do updates to close holes of programs. To Microsoft because its software had or has vulnerabilities.

Of course there are and suspicious sites and suspicious programs that used your emails for spam when you inserted them for subscription or they sold them to others for spam.
It is a constant battle..

No I don't read the entire thread. If it is sudden increase, it's a back end problem. Either way there isn't anything you can do to cut it down by any means and last, I agree it isn't your responsibility to get spam under control.

There are thousands hitting now. Haven’t you read this forum? This is hitting us SUDDENLY and it shouldn’t be our responsibility to stop it. If phone companies can block spam calls, then so can Microsoft…and I’m getting a heck of a lot less in spam calls, than I am with spam mail, and I’m sure the others are too. This wasn’t gradual. This was sudden.
