Last week, my personal Outlook email started getting ~50 spam emails per day. I barely ever use this email address, so I am not sure how or why this began to happen. How can I stop all of this spam from getting to my inbox?
I have been flagging all of the emails as spam, but it doesn't seem to be stopping the influx of emails I am getting.

MS wont fix this problem they created unless they are forced to....think about joining a class action
Lots of other users are in the same position....unless we all start to discuss the ways and means of a class action MS will do nothing about it....if your considering joining a class action the following link will give you some idea of what to expect: https://www.slatergordon.com.au/class-actions/what-to-expect
My outlook adres has been my main one for almost 20 years. I'm sure it's been on spamlists since forever. I know it was on a list used by peddlers of alternative medicine and fake 'health' stuff they used to pre-block skeptics (around 2015, fun times) and as that list with verified addresses was easily found, spammers certainly mined it.
Until a few months ago, no problems. Suddenly it became flooded, from one day to the next. Unusable. Most I've moved but sadly not everything can go to Gmail. I've only the cheapest subscription now instead of a 365 family plan. 90% of my mail, office apps and storage are now Google.
Microsoft - this HAS TO STOP!! If you can't stop it, then you will lose a lot of users! It eats up about an hour of my day, every single day just cleaning out these junk emails. Yes, we all know how to block them, but it doesn't do any good. There was one suggestion about all of we users sending them to Microsoft Support and see if they like it! I might just start doing that.
