My Outlook inbox is suddenly getting a ton of spam and I don't know how to stop it

Last week, my personal Outlook email started getting ~50 spam emails per day. I barely ever use this email address, so I am not sure how or why this began to happen. How can I stop all of this spam from getting to my inbox?

I have been flagging all of the emails as spam, but it doesn't seem to be stopping the influx of emails I am getting.

Who do you report them to?

My incoming spam has decreased to a manageable level, but any is still annoying. I wish you the best for something that we should not have to deal with.

Me too, since highlighting this issue (yet again, first time was in 2019) on 3 seperate threads here recently on this Community Forum I can say that my spam junk mail has almost gone to zero -

so fingers crossed it stays that way.

I have been reporting them all each day en masse in bulk, as ''Phishing'' **** and then Blocking the senders then Deleting them all.
Takes a few minutes each morning but hey ho seems to have worked for now.

Someone at Outlook Towers just maybe has listened to me/us and reads these threads LOL.

Wish the best to you all for a same result.

I am having the same issue. In fact, thinking it would be a great idea to connect my PC with my Facebook messages, only made things worse. Not only am i getting scam emails, messages by the hundreds, now they also have access to my phone. It is exhausting clicking on every single message every single day to alert in spam or phishing. I tried to collect all of them to report all at once, but that option was not given. I would also think that by now outlook and gmail, and other emails would know and recognize the scam artists by now. Something absolutely needs to be done. These hackers, spammers, scammers and thieves, work overtime in stealing information. PLEASE HELP. I spend hours on average, reporting these scams one by one. If I do not look and review my emails for two days, I wake up to over 6,000 emails, it is ridiculous. I really think I don't want any emails. This is far worst than getting junk mail in your mail box. This is harassment, annoying, disturbing and unnerving. Your anxiety levels go up every time you see so much mail and know it is all about some scam trying to get thru.
