Hi,

Normally my Outlook links open in my default browser Chrome.

Today they started to open in Edge even though Chrome is still the default browser.

How do I get them to open in Chrome again?

I am using Windows 11 with the Outlook app.

Thanks

This is a new feature in OUTLOOK and has nothing to do with the default apps in the OS settings.

Go to Outlook Options > Advanced > Link Handling > "Open hyperlinks from Outlook in:" > Select "Default Browser".

Arif, are you officially representing Microsoft or do you have no affiliation with Microsoft?

I have the same experience as Jaxon, and it seems your comments aren't based on the current Microsoft setup. Dealing with Edge is frustrating, and it seems that Microsoft wants to make the use of Edge obligatory. I guess is time to contact my US Congressman Jerry Nadler.

Not sure if you got your answer, ut i found the following link, it might be of a help.

Seems like Microsoft trying to force Edge on users so they added this extra settings in outlook... the change has to be done from outlook options other than just changing your default browser to chrome....

    Good luck
