How to stop Outlook links being opened in Edge

Hi,

Normally my Outlook links open in my default browser Chrome.

Today they started to open in Edge even though Chrome is still the default browser.

How do I get them to open in Chrome again?

I am using Windows 11 with the Outlook app.

Thanks

This is a new feature in OUTLOOK and has nothing to do with the default apps in the OS settings.

Go to Outlook Options > Advanced > Link Handling > "Open hyperlinks from Outlook in:" > Select "Default Browser".

Thank you, although the path is options>advance> files and browser preference default browser.

This kind of thing drives me nuts as an IT Admin. Quit trying to make Edge happen, it's lost the browser war. This is annoying for me, my helpdesk and my users. It's like some kind of needy ex stalking me. Begone.

Well this is just stupid that Outlook just ignores the system wide default browser setting and have its own settings for this
