This thread concerns Yahoo mail being read on the Windows 10/11 Mail app. That's not clear in many of the posts in this thread.

There isn't a fix for this. At present, the workaround is to read these messages at https://mail.yahoo.com with a browser.

    I am having the same problem with my Yahoo email. I can read them on my phone or tablet but not on my PC. Is anyone trying to correct this problem since it seems to be happening to more than a few of us.

    I asked Geek Squad to take a look at my laptop to make sure nothing else was wrong. They checked it for virus', etc. and cleaned it up. They told me many others are having this problem and that I need to contact Yahoo. I've tried to find out how to get in touch with a person, but haven't had any luck. Keep getting message that I can use/purchase YahooPro for help??? The problem on my laptop is now getting worse with emails from more places coming in as code. I can still read emails on my phone. I've started to go directly to Yahoo Mail to read emails that are in code. But we shouldn't have to do this! CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!!

    It started early June. Started with informational emails sent from a few stores. Then more, including emails from bank and finance advisors. Not all emails are coming in as code. I can read all on phone and if I access Yahoo Mail directly. I only use Webroot at this time. A couple of weeks after problem started I tool to Geek Squad since I pay for services. But after checking my system for viruses, malware, etc. and cleaning it up, they said I should contact Yahoo (since they've heard others complain of this problem) and maybe check with a few senders (who tell me it must be on my system of with Yahoo). I haven't been able to find a way to contact a person at Yahoo.
