This thread concerns Yahoo mail being read on the Windows 10/11 Mail app. That's not clear in many of the posts in this thread.

This has been going on for some time and it seems others are having same problem is there a solution?

* Edit: As of 3 December 2023 the information below is still true.

There isn't a fix for this. At present, the workaround is to read these messages at https://mail.yahoo.com with a browser.

Reading back through the replies on here, I am beginning to think that the problem is with Microsoft rather than Yahoo?

Just to test. You probably don't want to read all messages in plain text.

Formatting, pictures, and links can be turned off for all messages that you open in Outlook.

    1. Click the File tab.
    2. Click Options.
    3. Click Trust Center, and then click Trust Center Settings.
    4. Click Email Security.
    5. Under Read as Plain Text, select the Read all standard mail in plain text check box.

I was having trouble find the file tab, too, until I checked in Outlook, which I don't use much. File tab is there. Anyway, I followed the instructions but didn't help. I still get some emails in code, like you.
