This thread concerns Yahoo mail being read on the Windows 10/11 Mail app. That's not clear in many of the posts in this thread.

There isn't a fix for this. At present, the workaround is to read these messages at https://mail.yahoo.com with a browser.

    Which version and build of Outlook are you using? See File, Office Account for the information.

    Do you recall when it started doing this?

    Are all messages affected or just some, from specific senders?

    What are you using for antivirus?

    You aren't the first person to report this problem with Outlook and Yahoo accounts - it seems to have started after yahoo updated their servers. I have a question into my contacts at Microsoft to see what they know about it.

    I too have Yahoo mail. It is actually a transition from Bell south email now being administered by ATT/Yahoo. I have noticed also a lot of my email now comes in scrambled looking like hieroglyphics. It is not all email and some companies come through fine. I have made no change in my anti virus or email specifications. I will probably have to get a new email provider as this appears to be ongoing and cannot risk not receiving a legible important email.

    How do I fix some e-mails that come in garbled and unreadable. Only some e-mails are this way and from reputable sources.
