my yahoo mail comes in unread able as it is scrambled words how to correct this

This thread concerns Yahoo mail being read on the Windows 10/11 Mail app. That's not clear in many of the posts in this thread.

There isn't a fix for this. At present, the workaround is to read these messages at https://mail.yahoo.com with a browser.

    I've just got a new Win 11 laptop - same problem as everyone - some emails contain gibberish. I removed both my Yahoo accounts from Mail, then put them back. Problem has gone away!

    I had the same problem

    Problem solved by going to yahoo.com put in my email address in there at yahoo.com. All my mail will come through there all unscrambled.

    Uninstall yahoo mail from the windows mail app and reinstall it. That worked for me. good luck.
