my yahoo mail comes in unread able as it is scrambled words how to correct this

This thread concerns Yahoo mail being read on the Windows 10/11 Mail app. That's not clear in many of the posts in this thread.

There isn't a fix for this. At present, the workaround is to read these messages at https://mail.yahoo.com with a browser.

    Thanks Lisa for the info. I'm using windows10. Same scrambled email happens with sbcglobal.net email as well as yahoo.com. I can read using web mail or on my android but not the windows10 mail app. I was going to try windows 11 but since its happen with windows11 also. I will not upgrade.

    I am having the same problem with my Yahoo mail. Certain emails are scrambled. I also have to restart my windows desktop in order to receive emails. I am using the Microsoft Mail and Calanders app. My emails are fine on my phone app and iPad mail app. They are also fine when I sign into Yahoo through the web browser. I had an IT company check everything and they can't fix it. They told me to call Yahoo. Yahoo said it's not them because I am not having issues on my other devises. They told me it was a problem with Microsoft's app. I'm ready to throw in the towel. This all started the first week of June 2022. I updated to Windows 11 in March of 2022.

    I am having the same problem as well. Initially it wasn't happening on important emails but now it is.
