This thread concerns Yahoo mail being read on the Windows 10/11 Mail app. That's not clear in many of the posts in this thread.

There isn't a fix for this. At present, the workaround is to read these messages at https://mail.yahoo.com with a browser.

    I have this problem as well, and it's been going on for months. I check back here periodically to see if there's a fix, but so far, nothing.

    This does not happen to every email, but I have yet to find the common denominator.

    This happens *only* in Windows Mail, the app that comes with Windows. And it only happens to my Yahoo mail. Gmail accounts are not affected.

    I have two yahoo addresses and it happens with both of them.

    Both are fine via the Yahoo website or in the email apps on my phone.

    Will Microsoft ever fix this? Or tell us how to fix it? Has anyone figured it out?

    Ditch the app and go to the yahoo web site. Create a short cut on the browser bookmarks bar. Its a few more clicks but at least you can read the emails

    Ditch the app and go to yahoo etc direct. Its a few more clicks but you can read the emails.
