my yahoo mail comes in unread able as it is scrambled words how to correct this

This thread concerns Yahoo mail being read on the Windows 10/11 Mail app. That's not clear in many of the posts in this thread.

This has been going on for some time and it seems others are having same problem is there a solution?

There isn't a fix for this. At present, the workaround is to read these messages at https://mail.yahoo.com with a browser.

    Uninstall yahoo mail from the windows mail app and reinstall it. That worked for me. good luck.

    I'm no expert but the following strategy has worked for me on my windows 10 system.

    I have various E mail accounts, but only Yahoo, on some E mails fail; (has yahoo implemented an update !! )

    my solution was to remove Yahoo from my mail account, reboot system, then reinstall yahoo account in mail or outlook, and bingo works a treat.

    all contacts miraculously reappear as if the gods are shining on me

    Your reply on 10/17/2022 (attached) WORKED for me. I have been trying other suggestions and nothing worked until I saw your reply. I removed Yahoo from my email account, logged out, rebooted my system, and added my Yahoo account back into my email accounts. Bingo...just like you said. No more gibberish. Thanks a million!!
