This thread concerns Yahoo mail being read on the Windows 10/11 Mail app. That's not clear in many of the posts in this thread.

There isn't a fix for this. At present, the workaround is to read these messages at https://mail.yahoo.com with a browser.

    But we shouldn’t HAVE to do a workaround. Everything worked great until the latest Microsoft update. I truly believe it’s their fault and putting their customers through an unnecessary step is ridiculous A company like Microsoft should be able to fix this immediately, not still be having this problem months later. 😡

    Microsoft positions outlook as the go to UI for all email systems. Therefore they should work collaboratively with Yahoo to figure out why emails being delivered from Yahoo to outlook are getting garbled. From my post alone it appears both companies are forcing users to either drop outlook to use a substandard UI from Yahoo or leave outlook altogether to use Gmail.

    Feels like both companies are losing customer and causing a lot of dissatisfaction and do not seem to care.

    I've created a Gmail email account. And in the past ten days, I am almost done transitioning all my contacts from my "scrambled" yahoo account to the new Gmail account. You will also have to notify banks, health insurance, homeowners etc. of your new email address. Totally worth the time! In a couple months I will stop using/delete my old account (once all the important email contacts have been transitioned. Take the time and do this! Totally worth it! So far, all my emails are readable. You will also have to notify banks, health insurance, homeowners etc. Clearly there are a lot of frustrated people not getting answers. With my situation, Yahoo is pointing the finger at Microsoft, and I am not getting an answer from Microsoft either! Crickets!!!!
