Managing personal Outlook.com account settings, security, and privacy
SOLUTION: I've come up with a solution. I know exactly how to fix this. Everyone read this now, and go to your Chrome browser. This will work if you are using chrome. Other browsers may do this a little different. So for anyone using chrome, go to your address bar on your internet after trying to load hotmail.com. Once inside of www.hotmail.com and login.live.com, you will notice either a lock symbol or another symbol that has a couple circles and dashes right beside where you start typing the website on the address bar. Click on that it's the cookies button. After you load that, go to the option called cookies and site data. Then you will see "on-device site data". At this point you need to click the TRASH CAN ICON on anything appearing in that tab with hotmail or login.live.com. it will clear the cookies for that exact website and you will be back to normal. Restart Chrome and you'll be good to go. The only thing is you will need to retype your password back in, which should be Auto saved anyways by chrome. This works. I promise I just did it myself. You have to clear the cookies for hotmail.com by going to the top of your browser right beside where you start to type a website into your browser. Click on that icon and do exactly what I said. Thank me later. ; )
