How do I move to next email from an open email? Little arrows have disappeared

How do I move to the next email when I am in an open email? I used to have two little arrows (for up and down) to scroll up and down open emails, but they disappeared. Now if I want to go from one open email to the next one, I first have to close that email and then open the next one.

If I press PageUp or PageDown or any arrows, it just scrolls INSIDE the open email. I'd like to move from one open email to the next open email (I used to do that with the little arrow icons that appeared when an email was open).

Can someone help, please?

    ..As you can see from the screenshot, I have to way to do that now.

    Until a fix occurs, Ctrl + . (period) moves to the Next message.

    Ctrl + , (comma) moves to the Previous message.

    I would like to see the arrows all together. :-)

    It would be nice to have a shortcut until Microsoft resolves this, but I'm not sure the one you propose doesn't work. I'm not sure I understand the proposed solution. Do you mean I have to press 4 keys? (1) Ctrl (2) and (3) + is Shift and the + key (4) period or comma.

    If useful: on my computer is I press Ctrl and + or - from inside an email, the result is that I make that email bigger or smaller.

    PS I use Windows 10, not mac

    Press and hold the Control key. Press . (period) to move down the list.
