I mostly use only my keyboard to type, the dropdown option on the keyboard makes it extremely convenient to access the spell check options. This is a right click function, since changing it to left click this functionality has been lost.
Having to stop typing and using the mouse to left click every time is iritating and frankly a waste of time / disruptive. It makes no sense to change a function that has been a staple since the start of spellchecking without providing an option to change it back!!

I agree with all the comments above. How did the "new" version not include automatic spell check. I tried to change it through Windows 10 (as recommended) but everything is already set for automatic changes. Instead of bragging about AI (as useless as tits on a bull) fix this problem! It has been months!
The automatic spell check and any auto grammar features do not work with the "new" outlook or the online version of outlook. its so frustrating that this simple feature can't be included. all the settings are correct and I imported all my previous settings. the left click to check the spelling is super annoying, but that's the least of my concerns. the main issue is that it doesn't auto capitalize the start of a sentence, or capitalize "i", or follow any of my autocorrect settings.
What the heck?? I wonder why it works for you and not others. I just went to try it now and get this if i right click on the misspelled word.
Why is software usability going backwards? If the 'new' Outlook is a Beta, then why is Microsoft ignoring their users' feedback?

Same here. Broken for several months now. No fix!? plus having to left click to bring up the spell checker when everything uses a right click. Go figure...
