Why does Microsoft want to charge me for Hotmail service when I have deleted almost all messages ?

I have used hotmail for free for more than ten years. Today I received a message from Microsoft telling me that I don't have enough space and I cannot send or receive messages. They say I have to pay monthly or annually to be able to do that. I have deleted almost all my messages from Hotmail, but the message is still there. I feel Microsoft is forcing me to pay for hotmail now.

    Having the same issues, I'm canceling Outlook, Hotmail, or whatever the hell it has evolved too....Disgraceful the treatment to it's members,,, Buh Bye...

    Now how to I get all my memories back, and love letters my wife sent to me 15 years ago that I still had saved...

    Well I've been using Hotmail since I can't remember when! I have a OneDrive account and I've paid for one TB and that's good until next year sometime! I switched to the 100 GB annual $19 per year fee and I've had that service in the past! Somewhere along the line I accidentally paid for 1 TB! I've had this storage for 100 GB for years using the $19 per year! But guess what Microsoft has done? I have emails one with google@gmail the other two with Microsoft's Hotmail!

    INSTEAD OF HAVING MULTIPLE EMAILS FOR ONE ONE DRIVE ACCOUNT? NOW THEY WANT YOU TO HAVE ONE ONEDRIVE ACCOUNT PER EMAIL I REPEAT PER EMAIL! IN OTHER WORDS YOU CAN'T HAVE TWO EMAIL ACCOUNTS ON ONE ONEDRIVE ACCOUNT! THEY'RE NOT LETTING YOU COMBINE THEM AND I BELIEVE BEFORE THEY WERE! F*** BILL GATES!

    I have had the sake issue, and I'm really upset, I accidentally cleared ALL of my in ox mails, some I've had for 20 years, that had sentimental value, now my invoz is modelers empty, my junk box empty. My mum is nearly 80 and only uses emails t9 communicate. Today I wanted to send her some pictures and I sant send any emails. I have shot loads of space.

    I'm so upset about all the deleted emails., so many adventures, pictures, memories all deleted because Microsoft are trying to charge their customers. Or is this some kind of glitch or a bug. I guess I will need to contact them to try and figure it out. The fact I can't email my Mum is insane.

    And they're still trying to say that my things Are full now that I made a new email and they're still trying to say it's full
