I have used hotmail for free for more than ten years. Today I received a message from Microsoft telling me that I don't have enough space and I cannot send or receive messages. They say I have to pay monthly or annually to be able to do that. I have deleted almost all my messages from Hotmail, but the message is still there. I feel Microsoft is forcing me to pay for hotmail now.

I'm having the same problems, Sat here yesterday deleting thousands of emails. To find out they don't even delete. Your forced to pay for storage now to access your emails. Even if you try delete to make storage you can't.

Hi Janbaz, I have exactly this problem, I cannot receive emails in my hotmail as from last night although i have deleted loads of stuff and there should be room now. I live in Oslo, Norway. Holding my emails hostage did force me to buy more storage. This was after deleting 1000’s of pictures, videos, and emails. It didn’t matter how much I deleted; I realized it was just a dishonest game to them. It was a no-win scenario
