Shared Outlook calendar shows wrong timezone in Google calendar. Timezone when importing a shared Outlook calendar is wrong. When importing the link to the Google Calendar, the shared calendar settings says that the timezone is GMT+00:00 -- It's grayed out and I cannot change it. How can I correct this issue?

    WORKING SOLUTION

    I created and hosted my own solution for this problem, because I really needed something that works quick.

    I then hosted its source code and instructions on Github: https://github.com/bressanmarcos/ICS-Timezone-Fixer

    In the link above you will also understand why that issue happens.

    To put it in simple terms, the solution is only replacing your original .ics URL by prepending it with https://ics-changer.great-site.net/?ics\_url=

    For instance, if your original link was https://link-to-original/calendar.ics, use instead https://ics-changer.great-site.net/?ics\_url=https://link-to-original/calendar.ics

    Disclaimer: my hosted solution above is just a convenience, you might also host your own server instead!!!

    I have had this problem for a while now. Today I solved it.

    I live in Athens, Greece, so I had my time zone set as UTC+2 (Athens).

    I noticed that on some websites that automatically "see" the time zone I am in (Acuity scheduling for instance), I was displayed as being in UTC+2 (Chisinau).

    So, I changed my Microsoft account time zone to this.

    And it got fixed!

    Now I still see the wrong time zone in Google calendar's settings (UTC+0), but the calendar entries are displayed correctly. I CAN LIVE WITH THAT.
