Shared Outlook calendar shows wrong timezone in Google calendar. Timezone when importing a shared Outlook calendar is wrong. When importing the link to the Google Calendar, the shared calendar settings says that the timezone is GMT+00:00 -- It's grayed out and I cannot change it. How can I correct this issue?

    I am having issues with the solution?
    I can add the calendar - but no activities are imported for some reason?
    I have checked the link and tried to republish etc. multiple times

    My solution came from changing the time zone in the highest level of configuration, the microsoft account.

    I went here : https://myaccount.microsoft.com/settingsandprivacy/language and noticed that the time zone said " W. European Time", which is UTC +1.

    I then changed it to "Madrid/Brussels/Amsterdam/Paris" (which is still UTC + 1 but with a different description)

    Restarted everything including outlook and it worked.

    My conclusion is that the time zone setting in Outlook is lower in the pecking order than the time zone setting in the MS Account which also seems to make sense from a design standpoint.

    For all who are still stuck:

    Instead of publishing the calendar from within Outlook, I chose Share Calendar (in Outlook), where I entered my Google email. An email got send to me. Don’t click on the big blue button. Instead, copy the link (very tiny at the bottom) that is similar to this https://outlook.office365.com/owa/calendar/…999999…/reachcalendar.ics

    Drop this into add with URL in Google Calendar. Worked for me (while Google Calendar still states time zone as GMT+00:00)
