Using classic Outlook for Windows in business environments
Dear Lauren,
If the shared Outlook calendar is displaying the wrong timezone in your Google Calendar, there are a few steps you can take to try and correct the issue:
- Open Google Calendar on your computer.
- On the left side of the screen, click on the three horizontal lines to open the menu.
- Scroll down and click on “Settings”.
- In the “Settings” menu, scroll down to “Time zone” and click on it.
- Make sure that your time zone is set correctly.
- Scroll down to “Your current time zone” and click on it.
- Select “Display all time zones”.
- Find your time zone and select it.
- Click “Save” at the bottom of the page.
If this doesn’t work, you can try changing the time zone of your Outlook calendar by following these steps:
1)Open Outlook on your computer.
2)Click on “File” in the top left corner of the screen.
- Click on “Options”.
4)Click on “Calendar” in the left-hand menu.
5)Scroll down to “Time zones”.
- Make sure that your time zone is set correctly.
- If it’s not, select the correct time zone from the drop-down menu.
- Click “OK” at the bottom of the page.
If these steps do not resolve the issue, there may be a technical problem or compatibility issue between the two calendar systems. In that case, you might consider reaching out to the support teams for both Google Calendar and Outlook for further assistance.
