Using Classic Outlook on Windows for personal email, calendar, and contact management

Hi All
I'm loving the new Outlook, however I'm having real difficulty manually sorting my email folders.
Clicking & dragging the folder, only allows me to drop the folder INTO another folder, but doesn't allow me to drop it in between other folders (meaning I cannot re-arrange / sort the folders manually).
Right clicking the folder and clicking "Move", again only allows me to move the folder INTO another folder. There is no "move up or down" option unfortunately.
It is currently sorting my folders in alphabetical order, but I wish to change this. I have been through all the settings and cannot find anywhere I can manually sort my email folders.
Can anyone assist?
Thank you
Thomas

This is so bad. Favorites does not provide access to subfolder arborescence. Why would you need to f.. up my work and remove this basic primordial functionality, thinking favorites with no possibility to look and organize your work inside, would be a good idea. No wonder people are looking to move away from Office, this is so unprofessional.
Neither are working with Rules. Its like they are limiting the amount of rules you are able to set.
The "new outlook" is becoming a necessity because the old version started not honoring my email rules. I spent a week trying different things and looking through forums, got no solutions. I have a laundry list of things that I absolutely HATE about "new outlook", but all I care about is if I can make the rules work and so far, it's been holding up fine.
OR, just go back to the older version. Because who has time for this?! (nice temp fix though)
