Cannot manually sort folders with new Outlook

Hi All

I'm loving the new Outlook, however I'm having real difficulty manually sorting my email folders.

Clicking & dragging the folder, only allows me to drop the folder INTO another folder, but doesn't allow me to drop it in between other folders (meaning I cannot re-arrange / sort the folders manually).

Right clicking the folder and clicking "Move", again only allows me to move the folder INTO another folder. There is no "move up or down" option unfortunately.

It is currently sorting my folders in alphabetical order, but I wish to change this. I have been through all the settings and cannot find anywhere I can manually sort my email folders.

Can anyone assist?

Thank you

Thomas

I also want to bump this up as a priority with the numerous folders I use to keep organized.

This is just one of sooo many features that are missing in the New Outlook. It seems Microsoft's new moto must be, "almost good enough for government work." It feels like we're getting promised a club sandwich with chips and soda and good company only to get bread with some mayonnaise on it.

this is not a solution because the folders are constantly changing, so i'd have to constantly update all of them.... SMH Microsoft please hear our calls.

doesn't look like Microsoft has fixed this yet but you could just put a number in the beginning of the folder name so it displays (alphabetically) in the order that you want. it's a workaround but hopefully they revert it back to manually arrange the folders.
