I can not receive or send email because One drive is full. My one drive is full over 5GB but my email is only 2.6GB out of 15GB yet I cannot use my email. Why is it using my One drive quota for my email?

Why is Outlook operation tied to One Drive storage. I get message that Im using an Ad blocker and must increase One drive storage for $1.95/month,
Why must i now pay for using Outlook mail??
You don't have to pay if you stay within the storage limits.

I already pay monthly for Microsoft 365 & constantly get offers to subscribe to 365 as if I don't have it. I have 3 email accounts: ******@mail.com ; ******@gradientadvisors.com ; ******@mahoneyCFP.onmicrosoft.com. The account associated with the mail.com email says that OneDrive is 97% full but I got another message that it was full and my Outlook is shut down. I can't access my contacts anymore and don't receive emails on my gradientadvisors.com email in Outlook...only can see them if I log in to Microsoft 365 directly.
Apparently OneDrive is downloading everything on my computer and I've used up my 5 gig that comes with the 365 subscription. How can I add to the storage without adding another Microsoft 365 subscription? I am not internet savvy but I need to access my contacts and receive the emails from mail.com AND gradientadvisors.com as soon as possible!
You have to clean up Onedrive. Go there and remove, either by deleting or moving the files to your folders on your computer, to free up space. In my email account, I deleted the majority of emails, emptied most folders, and always keep deleted and junk folders empty. I also turned off One Drive, so it doesn't save every single thing on my computer. This seems to have done the trick.
