I can not receive or send email because One drive is full. My one drive is full over 5GB but my email is only 2.6GB out of 15GB yet I cannot use my email. Why is it using my One drive quota for my email?

Mine is the same way. My email is blocked and I have deleted most everything in it. I have turned off the sync in one drive and deleted everything that it will delete, (some of it it won't even delete) and it still doesn't help.
If you deleted everything out of Onedrive, which you have to do online at Onedrive. com, you also have to delete the Recycle bin that is in Onedrive, on top of emptying all your email folders. It might also be a good idea to start unsubscribing from email recipients you don't use, like that shopping site you made a purchase with and only signed up to receive their alerts and newsletters to get that 10% discount.
OneDrive is taking up 24.7 GB out of 5GB after mine expired. This is fine, I will be deleting and moving things to Dropbox.
However, my Outlook (Attachments) is <0.1 GB. My e-mail storage is 3.7 GB out of 15 GB.
You must be joking, can't receive e-mails? Sending is one thing but if I can't receive critical e-mails because you're over the OneDrive limit is asinine. This would make sense if Outlook was taking up over 15GB of limit. But this obviously isn't the case.
What if my e-mail involves a job interview, a medical appointment, my paycheck? This change is a clear threat to force you to continue your OneDrive subscription.
What an awful decision; And will now be the reason I will be moving away from Microsoft's services.
