I can not receive or send email because One drive is full

Thank you to those who shared that even after clearing out OneDrive or increasing the storage there are still issues with receiving and sending emails. Had hotmail/outlook for 20 years but unfortunately will now be going to Gmail. Why Microsoft? $$$?

I too have missed very important emails as a result of this change, my property purchase may well fall through because of this.

This change is incredibly inconvenient.

I didn't realise I wasn't receiving e-mails anymore until practically a week later. Now I have upgraded my OneDrive from 5GB to 100GB and my e-mail remains broken. I'm not receiving e-mails and the app keeps closing on it's own whenever I try to synchronise it.

This answer explains why the issue is happening but it doesn't fix it. Even when you upgrade or remove your files from OneDrive, Outlook STILL doesn't function as many other people have stated here as well. How can we solve this?

They want you to get rid of everything out of outlook too. Clear out your junk files, clear out your deleted files, clear out your sent files and any other files you created. Only save anything that is important in your inbox. You can't forward it to another email account outside of outlook because Microsoft essentially locked your account. What sucks is that mail you haven't received is gone and sent back to the recipient as undeliverable. In some cases, that could make you look bad, or hurt your sales as someone told me that sells on Mercari and Ebay, (she had no idea she made the sale), never receive flight itineraries, medical appointments, etc. Has anyone at Microsoft actually given that a thought?
