My e-mail suddenly had a pop-up requesting my e-mail and password. I entered it and it would pop up again and again and again even though I was using the correct e-mail addresses. I contacted my e-mail provider. I was on the phone with them for 2 hours and 15 minutes. Everything was correct. However, it would not get rid of the pop-up and I couldn't send and receive e-mails. They were able to finally correct receiving e-mails without the pop-up, but could not get rid of the pop-up for outgoing. It would pop-up within seconds. After trying to repair the e-mail in outlook for nearly an hour, she had me create a back-up of the data, then delete that e-mail so I could reinstall it in outlook. We've trying re-installing 30+ times. We've signed in and out, rebooted computer, etc. It locks up in the "we are getting things read" screen while constantly having the pop-up that asks for email and password which I've entered correctly over and over and over and over again and it pops up again as soon as I hit enter. I've also ignored the pop-up and let the "we are getting things ready" spin for forever and it still never lets me install. Please please please can I talk to a live person. I've tried everything as has my internet provider.

I am trying to set up my email address in new Outlook to no avail. It is asking me for SMPT username. Can anyone tell me what this is? My email address?

    Thank you.

I'm having the same issue with the new Outlook. This reply doesn't help as the old Outlook executable no longer exists. Microsoft must have deleted it when they installed the new Outlook. The same issue arose last time this happened and they had to reverse the whole release. They should probably do the same thing again. New Outlook just doesn't work with 3rd party hosted email addresses.

I did not have any issues logging in, My org got me office 365 standard trial

Today when i logged in outlook.com (empty email) then went into Outlook (New) the first thing it does, is connect to the exchange server from outlook.com

Outlook.com is a dummy domain. It uses our domain that we don't use.

We removed the subscription, But now it seems as i am stuck with this. even when its removed from admin.microsoft.com, It will not let me login using Manuel settings anymore when it use to work.

It seems as we are bing punished for buying Microsoft 365. this is the second email that has been affected on our domain. we need to be able to either be able to clear data out of microsoft, Or microsoft has to come up with another way with auto-discovery or a option to auto check accounts or not.

My issue is exactly like this one:
