Since updating my email account with the new Outlook, I can no longer view one of my other accounts. I've tried many times to add it but I got this error message. I cannot copy and paste the error message but the error code is EASIDACCOUNT. Please help!

so I did this as well and now it has downloaded all but the last 5 weeks of emails.

Also, Windows is not opening with my original deskto, which is where I kept all my current working documents.... cannot find them now. It is forcing me to use a new, fresh desktop and none of the desktop folders in the windows explorer have the older files.

    Hi,

I found that adding a existing outlook account to the New outlook, I tried all the suggested fixes then noticed the software during the add account process changed one lower case letter in my email address to an upper case, the server could not be found, i manually changed this back to a lower case and the software found the server and add and imported all old messages straight away. But once imported it still showed the email header with the capital.

It was in the ******@outlook.com addreess that the software changed to ******@outlook.com, manually changed.

I hope this helps other people.
