I'm having the same issue with the new Outlook. This reply doesn't help as the old Outlook executable no longer exists. Microsoft must have deleted it when they installed the new Outlook. The same issue arose last time this happened and they had to reverse the whole release. They should probably do the same thing again. New Outlook just doesn't work with 3rd party hosted email addresses.

    Hi Segunfunmi,

I am unable to add an outlook.com account in MSoutlook on Mac. It was working fine till yesterday. Suddenly started asking for password. I entered the password, but it kept on saying invalid credentials. So I went to outlook.com and reset my password. I can login from the web, my phones etc., but MS Outlook keeps on giving invalid credentials error. I deleted the account, now I am trying to add it back, but it won't let me.

I have logged in using the credentials to leave this comment, but MS Outlook won't allow!

Frigging Microsoft and its crappy applications.

    Thank you for your help

    Best Regard,

    Karan

Thank you! Switching back to the old version worked! Although it won't appear when I switch to the new version again so I'm just going to use the old version for now. Thank you though!
