All hotmail / outlook Junk mail coming to inbox ?

Despite these emails still saying they are classed as junk. This has suddenly started today.

I've cleared my cache and deleted all in junk box.

Can't find any settings in junk mail other than safe senders list .

Thanks, Darren

    Hi Alison

I always go to the CEO, otherwise these organisations are impenetrable, as they are designed to be.

Ms B's address is: clare.barclay@hotmail com

However, I got this online, so have no idea if it is correct. I emailed yesterday, and so far have had neither acknowledgement nor reply. If by Monday I have had no reply I will take the matter further. Good luck, Jonathan.

I’d like this CEO’s email as Microsoft do not answer. I still do not get emails ie I reset my Zwift password today and no emails came through from Zwift even though I added them to contacts and safe sender lost again. Losing the will to live with hotmail emails getting blocked. Only started in February.

I too began email many years ago with MS Hotmail and still use that same email account. My Hotmail and msn.com email the same for couple decades. In February 2023 junk email and spam began invading my inbox at very high rate. despite I having my filter set to strict and have blocked senders and sent phishing scam back to MS. None of this is making a difference. MS should be so kind to tell us why this is being allowed to muck up our mail account after years of effectively filtering junk email. I believe MS knows the answer to this issue-come on man. Either MS is profiting from it by allowing more hits to personal home inboxes or they want to decommission the tech support to our older email accounts. Want us switch to another MS window email services JUST SAY SO! Quit acting as if you don't know what is happening. Also please stop echoing steps to review security settings as a remedy/ Done this already and why would this suddenly not be effective- what caused that? End of my rope with this hundreds upon hundreds of junk mail not being filtered as before. If anyone have a different suggestion or could shed light on this issue were junk mail filtering seem to be suddenly ineffective.

I have had my hotmail account for the same length of time, it certainly does sound like they're trying to get rid of the Hotmail accounts.

I did exactly the same thing - re contacting the CEO, which is how I have an address that allows me to email the one contact, rather than being responded to by a different contact every time.

Hope it goes well for you.

    Hi Sophie

Well done. I've just emailed my concern to the CEO of Microsoft UK, if it doesn't bounce back. I will be interested to see if I get a reply.

Looks to me pretty much like Microsoft doesn't want free Hotmail accounts (I've had mine since 1996), so maybe they try to pressurise users into payment by the back door. I don't know what the status is of changing a free a/c, which has been signed up to on that basis, to a pay one, is. Let's hope they are not blinded by the dollar. Like you I don't use the Cloud, since in my view it is unlikely to be secure. Good luck, best wishes, Jonathan.
