How do you recall an email sent on this new Outlook version 1.2023.427.500?

Based on your description you want to recall email from the new outlook

 

you can enable an "Undo Send" option if you're using new outlook to your email address, up to a maximum of 10 seconds after selecting the "Send" button. After this option is enabled, you can use it to recall a message after it's sent.

To enable the undo option in the new outlook, click the cog icon in the top right corner of the new outlook to go to "Settings" and choose "View all Outlook settings" at the bottom. Make sure "Email" is selected on the left and then go to "Compose and reply." Scroll down to "Undo send" and adjust the slider to indicate how long you want to be able to recall a message. Click "Save" to keep the changes, and you're done.

The next time you send an email, there will be an "Undo" button beside the bar at the bottom of the screen that says "Sending." Click this to recall the message.

 

After that your message can be canceled for up to 0 to 10 seconds. You can choose how long outlook will wait to send your message. If you choose 10s, if you send any message it will take 10 seconds before the message goes. so if you want to recall just click on undo.

How do we RECALL a message?

This step does not show how to recall the message..

Hi everyone. I'm the originator of the question posted here on how to recall a message in the new Outlook. I suggest everyone trying out the new Outlook revert back to the previous version you had by clicking the toggle button on the upper rigtht corner. The reason for reverting back are: 1) you can't recall a message, 2) you can't copy and paste something from Excel into Outlook by having the option to keep the same format or other types of format,, 3) you can't save an email to a folder by clicking on File--->Save As

I think with just these three things you can't do in the new Outlook, is not worth using the new Outlook. I hope they are just testing the new Outlook and realize the many things they left out without any logical reason. Also, I know this is not a formal way to inform the Microsoft team about these issues, but if anyone here knows of someone working at Microsoft, let them know please. And yes, I did send a feedback using the Outlook feedback button.

I completely agree that losing this feature is a problem. Just this morning I had to open the Old Outlook to recall a message.

Use the Feedback facility in the new Outlook to let Microsoft know that this feature is important to you.
