Add folder from a shared mailbox to favorites

Hi,

I am using the "new" Outlook for Windows. It seems that it is no longer possible to move a folder from a shared mailbox to the favorites folder. This used to be possible in the "old" version. Is this feature gone or am I overlooking something?

Thanks for your help.

My least favorite part is that Outlook told me "A newer version of Outlook is required to continue" - so i upgraded. then it didn't allow me to organize my shared inboxes. so i switched back. So...... it wasn't required???? don't prompt me to upgrade unless it is ready to go. until this is fixed Microsoft is wasting my time.

It's been nearly a year since this question was originally posted, and I still don't see a solution. You'd think this issue would have been resolved by now!

It's completely understandable why employees in my company are reluctant to adopt the new version.

When will this be fixed? Why isn't this fixed? This is silly.

I have switched my customers to the “eM Client” app and a new email provider.
Works great! So much faster, cleaner. Everyone loves it.

But my guess is that most people will still continue to use Outlook, no matter how many problems or security vulnerabilities there may be. But for the curious: It was not hard to switch. It can be done.
