Hi,

I am using the "new" Outlook for Windows. It seems that it is no longer possible to move a folder from a shared mailbox to the favorites folder. This used to be possible in the "old" version. Is this feature gone or am I overlooking something?

Thanks for your help.

I hope Outlook Classic will continue to exist until this is resolved.

I have the same issue and manage five additional shared accounts for various system integrations, and with the new Outlook, I have to scroll through all five shared accounts to get to the inbox and various subfolders that I had as favorites in the classic Outlook app. This has been a critical feature, and the fact that this is not an option causes serious delays and inefficiencies. Is there any work on improving this feature, especially as this has been an ongoing thread since 2023?

I will also roll back to the old version because of that and will wait until this feature is added to the new version.

Microsoft really screwed up this time.

    Currently postponed to November 2024.
But it doesn't matter whether this will ever happen.

That's not how it works in business.
My customers can't wait any longer.

I have now started to switch customers from Microsoft Exchange to other providers. No more Outlook at last.

    We will see...

Then it's January, April, and October 2025...
