Using Classic Outlook on Windows for personal email, calendar, and contact management
It has been over a year, how has this functionality not been added yet? Its a huge issue.

Hi,
I am using the "new" Outlook for Windows. It seems that it is no longer possible to move a folder from a shared mailbox to the favorites folder. This used to be possible in the "old" version. Is this feature gone or am I overlooking something?
Thanks for your help.

We're able to stop it? We have customers now that are being forced over to new outlook (trying to open classic will just take them to new) - the functionality for shared folders to favorites is still not there.
Unfortunately this issue will prevent our organization from adopting the "New Outlook" until resolved.
And in September 2024 we still can't do this, but Microsoft are still trying to push use to use the new version.
Same here!! We pay $360/year for Copilot for Microsoft 365 and can't use the Outlook features because Microsoft can't figure out an EXTREMELY SIMPLE feature that was included in Outlook for years! MICROSOFT - Please add the ability to pin shared mailboxes to Favorites!!! This is ridiculous. You probably need to reevaluate some of the employees on the Outlook and Office engineering teams if you can't figure out this simple feature. I'm not sure why this isn't a priority. 🤬
