Using Classic Outlook on Windows for personal email, calendar, and contact management
I am so desperate that I thought of changing to Thunderbird...
Even using the OWA is a pain because I cant add shared mailboxes at all...

Hi,
I am using the "new" Outlook for Windows. It seems that it is no longer possible to move a folder from a shared mailbox to the favorites folder. This used to be possible in the "old" version. Is this feature gone or am I overlooking something?
Thanks for your help.

I'm not sure Microsoft has any developer's left. I think it has all been put onto AI and that is useless in it's current state, hence the poor resposne to any criticism. Time to look elsewhere for our productivity assistance.
It's not there yet. We are all waiting for it to be implemented. Currently, the introduction has been announced for October 2024, but it has already been announced for April, May, June and August, and nothing has ever happened.

I have the impression that Microsoft doesn't have the right people to solve this problem: they've basically turned everything into a web app and forgotten that certain things are hard to solve as a web app.
It seems this has still not been added as an update. I am now having to use the web version of outlook and I cannot save a folder from a shared mailbox to my favorites. Any update on when this functionality will be available? Or - If I am just being derpy and cant find it - how do I do it?
We are in July of 2024 so not sure if Microsoft is going to listen, because this is still a problem, and it's a big one. As others have said I monitor multiple shared mailboxes and not being able to see their inbox in my favorites easily means the new outlook is unusable for me.
