Task bar moved from bottom of screen to the side of screen (I can not figure out how to fix this)

How do I move the task bar (has apps: mail, tasks, calendar, etc.) back to the bottom of the screen? Is this called the task bar? I can't figure out how to restore the settings. See picture.

    This is the worst. Completely nonsensical to make the left-alignment mandatory. Please fix ASAP!!!

    If I gave Microsoft 1,000,000 tries to pick another location to move this bar to another location you couldn't possibly pick a worse spot.
