How do I move the task bar (has apps: mail, tasks, calendar, etc.) back to the bottom of the screen? Is this called the task bar? I can't figure out how to restore the settings. See picture.

How about Microsoft stops changing things that users don't want and haven't asked for?

The solution was posted in October by Ti Lie (please read before you post)

Cannot claim it, but can confirm this works:

Close Outlook, and then in the registry editor, navigate to the following registry key…

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Common\ExperimentEcs\Overrides

Locate the “Microsoft.Office.Outlook.Hub.HubBar” string value and set it to “false“. If there isn’t a “Microsoft.Office.Outlook.Hub.HubBar” string value in this registry key, create a new string value in this location called “Microsoft.Office.Outlook.Hub.HubBar” and set it to “false“.

You can now open Outlook again and you should be able to enjoy your Navigation buttons back at the bottom of the screen again.

Worked great for me as well.

Microsoft should read there customer feedback and use it. I went through these and not one person is happy with it. This bar is not used by many people so let us but it back on the bottom out of the way

I hate this change. Coming soon I'd gone do there's no way to put these icons back where they belong. Please give us the option to put them where we want them.
