Task bar moved from bottom of screen to the side of screen (I can not figure out how to fix this)

How do I move the task bar (has apps: mail, tasks, calendar, etc.) back to the bottom of the screen? Is this called the task bar? I can't figure out how to restore the settings. See picture.

    This works:

    File => Options => Advanced => [uncheck the box] Show Apps in Outlook => Restart Outlook

    New simply solution since December 2022:

    Go to:

    FILE > OPTIONS > ADVANCED > UNCHECK "Show Apps in Outlook"

    and

    restart Outlook

    If I wanted apps easily accessible I would pin them to my task bar!
