Task bar moved from bottom of screen to the side of screen (I can not figure out how to fix this)

How do I move the task bar (has apps: mail, tasks, calendar, etc.) back to the bottom of the screen? Is this called the task bar? I can't figure out how to restore the settings. See picture.

    It's a terrible change. NO value to users, a slap in the face to your customers. STOP this nuttery and put it back at the bottom. Just STOP IT! No one wants it. Shake your silly heads.

    Why do you constantly keep changing and moving things around? If it's not broken don't fix it. Development team are such a pain. Annoyed this is now a permanent fixture
